Live & Louder Productions is an affiliate of CPL Limited ("CPL"). Where personal data is shared within our corporate group, this Policy explains how and why.
For the purposes of applicable data protection law, Live & Louder Productions Limited is the data controller of personal data collected through the Website.
1. Who we are
See the introduction above for our identity and contact details.
2. Scope of this Policy
This Policy applies to personal data collected through the Website. It does not apply to:
- personal data collected through the Live & Louder channel or any subscription streaming/OTT service, which is governed by the privacy policy of the relevant platform or service;
- third-party websites, platforms or services that may be linked from the Website, including social media platforms, broadcasters and ticketing or merchandise partners; and
- personal data we process in other capacities, for example as an employer or in relation to production crews, talent or contractors.
Our use of cookies and similar technologies is described in our separate Cookies Policy, which should be read together with this Policy.
3. Personal data we collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Contact and enquiry data — name, email address, telephone number, organisation, country and the content of any message you submit through our contact, enquiry, media accreditation or careers forms.
- Marketing and newsletter data — name, email address, country and your communication preferences, where you sign up to receive news or updates from us.
- Technical and usage data — IP address, device type, browser type and version, operating system, referral source, time zone, pages viewed, time spent on pages and navigation paths, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies as described in the Cookies Policy.
- Correspondence data — records of communications between you and us, including any complaints or requests you make.
We do not intentionally collect special category or sensitive personal data (such as data relating to health, race or ethnicity, religion, or political opinions) through the Website, and we ask that you do not submit such data through our forms.
4. How we collect personal data
We collect personal data: (a) directly from you, when you complete a form, subscribe to communications or otherwise contact us; (b) automatically, through cookies and similar technologies when you use the Website; and (c) from third parties, such as our service providers, analytics partners and, where relevant, our affiliates within the CPL group.
5. How we use personal data and our legal bases
We use personal data for the following purposes:
- To operate, maintain and secure the Website — on the basis of our legitimate interests in running and protecting our online presence.
- To respond to enquiries, media, accreditation and business requests — on the basis of our legitimate interests, or where necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
- To send newsletters and marketing communications — on the basis of your consent, which you may withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any communication or by contacting us.
- To analyse Website usage and improve our content and services — on the basis of our legitimate interests, and, where required by applicable law, your consent to non-essential cookies as described in the Cookies Policy.
- To comply with legal obligations — including record-keeping, responding to lawful requests from regulators or law enforcement, and establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have assessed that our interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms. You may contact us for further information about these assessments.
6. Who we share personal data with
We may share personal data with:
- CPL group companies — for the purposes described in this Policy, including coordinated marketing and business administration, subject to appropriate intra-group safeguards.
- Service providers — including website hosting, IT support, email distribution, analytics and consent management providers, who process personal data on our behalf under contracts requiring them to protect it and use it only on our instructions.
- Professional advisers — lawyers, auditors, insurers and accountants, where reasonably necessary.
- Public authorities and courts — where disclosure is required by applicable law or legal process.
- Business transferees — in connection with any actual or proposed merger, acquisition, financing or sale of all or part of our business, in which case personal data may be disclosed to prospective transferees and their advisers under confidentiality obligations.
We do not sell personal data.
7. International transfers
We operate across the Caribbean and work with service providers and group companies located in other countries. Your personal data may therefore be transferred to, and stored or processed in, countries other than the country in which you are located, including countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction.
Where we transfer personal data internationally, we take steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection, including, where required, entering into appropriate contractual safeguards with recipients (such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms recognised under applicable law). You may contact us for further information about the safeguards we use.
8. How long we keep personal data
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy any legal, accounting or reporting requirements. In general:
- enquiry and correspondence data is retained for two (2) years from our last interaction with you;
- marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent, after which we retain minimal suppression records to honour your preferences; and
- technical and usage data is retained for the periods set out in the Cookies Policy.
We may retain personal data for longer where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
9. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Any transmission of personal data to the Website is at your own risk.
10. Your rights
Depending on the data protection laws that apply to you (which may include the data protection laws of Saint Lucia, Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago and other Caribbean territories, and, where applicable, the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation), you may have the right to:
- request access to the personal data we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
- request erasure of your personal data in certain circumstances;
- object to, or request restriction of, certain processing;
- withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal;
- request portability of personal data you have provided to us, in certain circumstances; and
- lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your jurisdiction.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in Section 14. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

The Website is not directed at children under the age of 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children through the Website. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
12. Third-party links
The Website may include links to third-party websites, platforms and services, including social media, broadcast and streaming partners.
